The Day After

Loved this weekend with my sons and their families!  I am so proud of the men that my son's have become.  The day after this holiday feels so good.  I am sipping on a cup of tea and looking back on the holiday.

What warmed your heart this Christmas Holiday?  Next year I plan to be near the Hawaiian Islands!

Oh how sweet life is!

Just came back from a wonderful weekend away with my Husband.  I enjoyed the long drive up and back with great conversation.  Every time I go on a long drive it reminds me of the beauty that is found beyond the smoggy cities.  Loved every moment this weekend, can't wait for the next exciting trip.  What does a long beautiful scenic drive do for you?

Thanksgiving Holiday

We can be so thankful to live here in the United States, the land of plenty.  I enjoyed a delicious meal with family on Thanksgiving.  If you look at how other people are hurting and struggling in other countries you count your blessings here in the United States of America.

Girls weekend away

Had a great weekend with the girls.  We stayed at a resort and it was interesting to see how many people are not buying into this "recession".  Are you truly actively involved in the recession or are you not accepting it?

Doom and gloom, really?

I am so tired of the media giving out doom and gloom.  Everybody is not in a recession....maybe close to it but surviving.  How about televising how people are making it during this time of re-direction.  If I find myself getting down about something I think of my favorite Pound Cake.
